Suzanne feels awkward about bios and writing in 3rd person. She comes to Black Orchid with nearly 5 years of experience behind the chair. After moving to Austin almost 10 years ago, armed with an anthropological background and deep rooted passion for music, history and art, her connection with hair became fully realized. She attended the local Paul Mitchell school and went on to apprentice at Ann Kelso Salon, where she became a full time stylist in 3 years. Having a strong background with curly and textured hair, she favors effortless styles that work best with each clients lifestyle.
