CANCELLATION & FEE POLICIES
CANCEL \\ RESCHEDULE \\ MAKE CHANGES
To ensure our Stylist's livelihood and positive experience for everyone we respectfully require a minimum of 24-hour notice to cancel, reschedule, or make changes to your appointment. Appointments canceled or rescheduled without 24-hour notice will be charged a Cancellation Fee equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.
When two consecutive appointments OR three appointments are canceled without 24-hour notice, you will be required to pay in full upon booking future services (including payment of any outstanding Cancellation and No-Show Fees).
Our policy reserves the right, at our discretion, to require a major credit/debit card, Black Orchid Salon gift card, or pre-payment to reserve appointments. Additionally, we reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.
“NO-SHOW”
Non-cancellations “NO-SHOWS” will be charged a No-Show Fee equal to 100% of the reserved service amount.
When 2 consecutive appointments OR 3 appointments are No-Showed, you will be required to pay in full upon booking future services (including payment of any outstanding Cancellation and No-Show Fees).
Our policy reserves the right, at our discretion, to require a major credit/debit card, Black Orchid Salon gift card, or pre-payment to reserve appointments. Additionally, we reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.

UNCONFIRMED APPOINTMENTS SUBJECT TO CANCELLATION
Please confirm your appointment before the 24-hour cancellation window using the link sent via text or email (1-3 days before your appointment). *NOTE, to confirm you only need to tap/click the link once; nothing else needs to be done once the link is tapped/clicked. If the link does not work please call the salon to confirm.
If your appointment is NOT confirmed before the 24-hour cancellation window, it is subject to auto-cancellation and cancellation fees.
APPOINTMENT REMINDERS
We will text or email to confirm your appointment 1-3 days before your appointment. We know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago and as a courtesy, we make every effort to notify you of your appointment date and time. However, it is your responsibility to arrive on time for your appointment and to inform us if your contact information has changed.

CHILD POLICY
To our Current and Future Clients of the Salon,
We write this notice with the utmost respect to all of you parents. Many of our stylists are parents themselves and understand that this can be a sensitive issue. However, we are very aware of the risks and dangers a salon poses to a child and would be devestated if your child was harmed under our roof. In an effort to keep your children safe and to keep the salon environment worry free for all, we adhere to the following policy:
Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult (other than a person receiving services) and we ask that children stay with that adult in one of our waiting areas and not the styling floor, where scissors, chemicals, and hot tools pose a serious risk to children.
Please understand that our concern is for the safety of your child. We write this notice without the intent of offending, and hope that you will aid us in keeping our salon a safe environment. Please contact us if you have concerns or questions about our policy.

We do not loan, rent, sell, trade, or lease the addresses on our list to anyone.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
Black Orchid Salon and its staff reserve the right to refuse service to anyone we deem to be
behaving disrespectfully, racist, homophobic, xenophobic, belligerent, sexist, or in any way that
makes any staff member or customer feel uncomfortable.
